An Italian Independence Medal; 1848-49 Austrian War & 1859 Crimean War Newly Listed the obverse bearing a central1848, 1849, 1859. Silver, without engraver mark, 33 mm, scattered pitting and surface wear, 1859 clasp broken on one end and can slide off ribbon, better than very fine. Footnote: The 1848 and 1849 clasps were issued for the War with Austria, the 1859 clasp was issued for the Crimean War.
