This case was manufactured in 1924 by Theodore W Foster Bros Co of Providence, Rhode Island for Richard Hudnut's Deauville line. The lid & base have a subtle engine turned design with a border of highly stylized laurel leaves. The lid has an oblong cartouche. The underside of the hinged mirror is signed ' DEAUVILLE RICHARD HUDNUT PATENTED DEC 2 24'. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror is very good &
