This is a great service worn M1910 Mess Kit set with the original spoon, fork, and knife, named to Ralph Moorhouse, who went overseas with the 604th Engineer Sapper Regiment, seeing combat in the Meuse Argonne Offensive before being transferred to the 29th Engineer Regiment, which was the Surveying & Printing Regiment. The mess kit is well decorated. The mess kit is dated 1917 and maker marked on the handle to T. U. S. A.
